Termen cunoscut de la Max Weber: Entzauberung der Welt (tradus cu Disenchantment of the World) - Dezvrăjirea lumii. Consider că sunt sinonime. În limba engleză se mai foloseşte şi demagification, însă varianta propusă mi se pare mai frumoasă.

Pag. 62: An alternative translation of Entzauberung (which literally means "demagification") would be "demystification".
Aceasta ar fi fost cealaltă propunere a mea, însă cred că este o diferenţă enormă între elementul magic şi elementul mistic, acestea nu trebuie confundate.

: Stricto sensu, echivalentul acestui termen este demitizarea. Ca-ntotdeauna, soluţia depinde şi de context.

Da, m-am gândit la termenul mitofolcloric care e demitizat. Poate nu e acelasi lucru.
