PLC (“Power Line Communication” - in USA known as “BPL, Broadband over Power Line”) transfers data using the existing power lines in the house. These lines were not designed for and are not suitable for transferring higher frequencies. This way, the wiring in a house will become the antenna for an uncontrolled radio transmitter, radiating wideband signals across the HF spectrum.
