Hi,
I know the topic has been discussed before and I worked through a handful of suggested solutions, but all to no avail. It is driving me mad.
I want to insert small non-breaking spaces into my translation. To that purpose I created a QuickInsert and copied the non-breaking space (out of the Palatino Linotype font) into the input mask. But the lines do still break at this character.
Does anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong?

You could perhaps also try to copy it over from Word.

They do break in Studio...

...but they don't break in Word or other DTP specific apps like InDesign. So you can just ignore the rendering in Studio.

Wow! This is a solution that I would have never thought of. But you're absolutely right: I copied a paragraph back into Word, where the space did it's non-breaking work smoothly.
I'm flabbergasted. Wonder why it is that regular non-breaking spaces don't break the line in Trados, but small ones do.
