See the message below, which I received this morning via proz.com.

I would be stunned if this is not a scam. I just wonder what the "end game" is. Will there be a request at some point for the translator to send $1000.00 or so to secure his or her position?

Any further information appreciated.

Yes, Robert, has been around for a while, and has been discussed previously in this forum.

It is, of course, the scam it appears to be.

Bin it!

Just don't click on that link in the email. Anyway, the English is appallingly bad, which suggests it has nothing to do with the Berkeley Hotel.

Example: "the hotel is set to go into a new phase of hospitality with a monthly salary of 3800GBP" - that's the first time I've ever heard of an hotel earning a salary !

Don't call the number Sep 25, 2013

on the ad, not even out of curiosity.
London numbers don't start with "704". Numbers that start like this are usually scam numbers and you could end up paying a fortune if you call one.
It is one million per cent scam (as Louis Walsh would say)
