You can't duck responsibility for your data
The Data Protection Act 1998 introduced the right of individuals to privacy for data processed about them. It sets out rules and procedures for any business or organisation that processes personal data.
Human resources: the draft Employment Practices Data Protection Code deals with "the use of personal data in employer/employee relationships". It sets out how you should process personal data in relation to recruitment and selection, employment records, employee monitoring, and medical and related issues.
Employee data will contain "sensitive personal data", defined as anything that consists of information in respect of racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life and/or the commission or allegation of any offence. There are specific rules for processing sensitive personal data.

If the president is always in charge of U.S. foreign policy, members of Congress can duck responsibility for tough issues that might pose risks to their paramount goal—getting re–elected. For example, by allowing presidents to fight even major conflicts without constitutionally required declarations of war—a phenomenon that began when Harry Truman neglected, with a congressional wink and nod, to get approval for the Korean War—the Congress conveniently throws responsibility for the war into the president's lap.

"Bill Clinton's favorite past-time appears to be in ducking responsibility," said Bob Adams, Project Director for Environmental and Regulatory Affairs at The National Center for Public Policy Research. "He's ducked responsibility for the FBI 'Filegate' scandal and ducked responsibility for Whitewater and Travelgate. Little wonder that he's managed to duck responsibility for the very human suffering occurring in the rural West that he helped create."

responsibility
Metaphor
Having responsibilities is like carrying something. Responsibilities that cause you problems and make you worried are like heavy loads.
I have to carry/shoulder the responsibility for this.
The responsibility was weighing on my mind.
I don’t want to be a burden to you.
It was a great weight/load off my mind.
He laid down his duties as vice-president.
I’ve been saddled with a lot of extra work.
You need to offload some of your work.
The house was a millstone around her neck.
Who’s going to carry the can for this?
I’ve been left holding the baby.
We all have our crosses to bear.
The situation is unbearable.

Termenul "to shirk responsibility"este incetatenit ca atare in limba engleza .
