Beware a scammer impersonating a recruiter from the British translation agency AA Global, who claims to be named "Josh Emmanuel". I even received two e-mails by this fraudster, with the same body text, but from two different addresses indicated in the sender field:

Beware a scammer impersonating a recruiter from the British translation agency AA Global, who claims to be named "Josh Emmanuel". I even received two e-mails by this fraudster, with the same body text, but from two different addresses indicated in the sender field:

[email protected]

As you can see, in the first address listed, the scammer even tried to imitate the ProZ*360 hosting service address.

Yet, the "ProZ-sounding" address turned out to be false, because, in the end of the first e-mail, I also read the automated indication "Reply to: [email protected]" which is the real e-mail address of the fraudster.

This address also reveals a different surname from the one indicated in the signature which, in both emails, is: "Josh Emmanuel - Recruitment Agent - AaGlobal". ▲ Collapse

There was no job offer: as I wrote before, this scammer was impersonating a recruiter of the mentioned agency: he asked me to send him my resume along with all the usual working information. Probably his aim is to contact translators in order to commit an identity theft.
