I am immigrating to Canada and I will have to evaluate my diploma as a translator there. Who can help me with the information where it is better to do and how????? Thanks in advance!

offers translators with a minimum of 5 years professional experience the option to apply for “Certification on dossier”. For that you are required to submit, together with a formal application, a number of work samples (including accompanying statements that prove this is indeed your translation), provide reference letters that outline your experience, write an ethics exam, and list your academic degrees/ translation diplomas. You mention that you intend to settle in Toronto, so check out this link:

Because the titles of certified translator, certified conference interpreter, certified court interpreter etc are now protected in 4 Canadian provinces (including Ontario), this is a sought-after credential for all translators who want to work for government agencies or provide translations that are recognized by the courts.
