If they do, then I'm about equally split between English (main language in this city), Italian (my husband's language) and Norwegian (the language I speak to myself and - most of the time to my daughters - all of the time to the rest of my relatives- on the phone)

Spanish. It's my native language and I live in Mexico. However, I have friends from all over the country and we love to compare regionalisms. People from the north are rightfully bullied.

But that wasn't always true. When my husband was alive we spoke Portuguese exclusively. Then we moved to Mexico, where we spoke Portuguese at home and Spanish everywhere else. I found that I was forgetting my mother tongue.

When we're tired, my husband I each speak in our own language, but when we're really tired, we speak a terrible mixture of Spanish and English, sometimes all in one sentence. (maybe I should be "anonymous!"):D
