Rename it as zip Jul 12, 2013

You may try this workaround:
1. Rename .xlz as .zip, and then extract it
2. Translate it as normal.
2. Once finish translation, you may save it as target.
3. Repackage the file as .xlz.

Try MemoQ Jul 12, 2013

My version of MemoQ seems to indicate it will open these files, might be worth downloading the free trial...

Or the free trial of Lionbridge's TWS XLIFF Editor?
