Dear all,
I really hope that someone can help me here ... my computer is driving me crazy! Since yesterday, I am asked to enter my password for iCloud, iMessage and Facetime about every 5 seconds and no matter what I do, this stupid questions pop up again. Any suggestions what I could do?
Thanks in advance,
Irene

I've experienced that too (after using my new iMac 5K for the first time)! It has been described at the Apple Support site in great detail. Off the top of my head: You have to log off iCloud on each and every Apple device and then log them in successively.

Thank you! Sep 30, 2015

It seems to be a kind of bug. I've been working on this computer for about two months with no problem at all, just one notification when starting up (password requested for iCloud, which I could reject), but then all of a sudden, the whole system started to act up.
I also began to receive some text messages (not all) only on my Mac and not on my iPhone which is really annoying as I didn't have the messages on the Notification Center and after popping up for a second, they just disappeared

It seems to be a kind of bug. I've been working on this computer for about two months with no problem at all, just one notification when starting up (password requested for iCloud, which I could reject), but then all of a sudden, the whole system started to act up.
I also began to receive some text messages (not all) only on my Mac and not on my iPhone which is really annoying as I didn't have the messages on the Notification Center and after popping up for a second, they just disappeared.
So I had to turn on messages on the Notification Center. I now tried to remove the messages from the Notification Center again, which solved my initial problem, however some text messages still only show up on my computer.
It's a complete mess and I simply hate it that my devices start to communicate among each other even though I don't want them to
So if someone can help me ...

Good luck!

(This issue is one of the few issues that made me realise that it's not all 'heaven' with OS X )

Thank god (and you ;-)) Sep 30, 2015

I found the solution here:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7233800

But still, how stupid is this a computer system decides what is best for you? I want to receive my SMS on my phone and nowhere else and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

Thanks again for your help - made my day!
Irene
