WORKING EXPERIENCES 

I started doing the first translation jobs in 1998, during the years spent at University, and, since the 1st of August 2001 I am a Professional freelance translator with VAT. I do translation works for direct customers, firms, other freelance translators and translations agencies based both in Italy and in foreign countries. I mainly (99%) translate from English into Italian, my mother tongue. On average my daily output is of 2.500 words, depending on the difficulty of the text, on my knowledge of the subject, etc. 

These are my specialization fields: 

- Medicine / Rehabilitation / Physiotherapy / Biologic drugs (scientific articles taken from International literature, market researches, medical brochures, posters, presentations, clinical trials protocols, informed consents, educational material for physicians, etc.) 

 - Pharma (market researches, leaflets of medicinal products, clinical trials protocols, informed consents).  

- Clinical trials (informed consent/ICF, protocols, amendments, GP letters, etc.)

I also translate other types of texts:

Veterinary medicine
Ornithology (I am a bird breeder, member of the Italian Birds Breeders Association, Federazione Ornicoltori Italiani; I have translated many articles and a book too on this subject)
