I am a Portuguese native speaker from Lisbon, Portugal. I have a C1 certification in English from Cambridge University a C2 certification in French awarded by Alliance Française and a certification in Portuguese to French translation also from Alliance Française.

I've been in close touch with English language all over the years and in a regular basis since I worked in the International Division of one of the major banks in Portugal and my clients were all from international markets. My job as an application developer also helped to increase my knowledge not only on the language itself but also on subjects related to computers and software (basic and developing skills). Although my French speaking skills are not as good I’m quite comfortable with reading and comprehension.
To fill my spare time I decided to give wings to an ancient passion and to embrace this big and exciting challenge of being a freelance translator.
I’m a member of freelance sites like Odesk.com, Translatorscafe.com, ProZ.com and also Motaword Team, and a Google partner Translation Cloud. My language pairs are English/Portuguese, Portuguese/English and French/Portuguese.
My goal is to continue working as a freelancer because I believe that opportunities may multiply if we pay attention to the right moment and the right time. It’s a new path but it is also a passion I’ve never had the chance to embrace.
I translate about psychology, philosophy, general subjects, travelling, short or long texts. As I have technical skills I’m also fit for software translations, User Manuals and technical translations on IT field.
