Source text - English INT. UNIVERSITY LECTURE HALL - DAY
Nick watches his father lecture to an auditorium of coeds.
ROBERTO
Atlantis. A myth? A hoax? The prototype of high civilization? The very name Atlantis has long suggested images of paradise...and utter destruction. The ocean right outside this campus is named after it.
Roberto searches the young faces in his audience: a mixed bag of mild interest, disbelief, and fascination.
ROBERTO
I'd like to hear your thoughts on Atlantis. You, go.
BRAINY BLONDE
Plato was the first to mention Atlantis, in his "Critias" dialogues.
Translation - Portuguese INT.
