Law/Patents - Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright / Ruling on Patent Infringement
Spanish term or phrase: 6.6°
I am translating a Ruling on a Patent Infringement case and this abbreviation is used in one of the Claims cited within the context of this case.

I just do not know what the "°" stands for in this context. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to translate this into English? The normal translation of this symbol do not seem to fit in this context.

Here is the context:

1. una rifaximina α, un polimorfo del antibiótico rifaximina, en la que dicha rifaximina a tiene un contenido en agua menor de 4.5%, y produce un difractograma de rayos x de polvo que muestra máximos a valores de 20 de 6.6°; 7.4°; 8.8°; 10.5°; 11.1°; 12.9°; 17.6°; 18.5°; 19.7°; 21.0°; 21.4°; 22.1°.

agree  Dr. Andrew Frankland: Exactly. These are angles in the powder X-ray diffraction pattern. By the way 20 should actually be 2(theta).
