Praznurile sunt piese de ancorare, confecționate din bară sau platbandă de oțel, având un capăt îndoit sau bifurcat, care se încastrează în elementul de baza din beton sau zidărie și celălalt capăt lăsat în afară pentru a putea fixa de el, prin sudură sau mecanic, un cadru metalic, o placuță etc.
