I've searched my dictionaries for planetary shaft, but I couldn't find it in any of them, then i searched on Google. Planetary appears mostly together with gear, not shaft.

It's a shaft with constant-velocity (CV) joints that transfers the rotating torque to one of the drive wheels in a car. It might also be called a half shaft or drive shaft.
