no contradiction I think Jim is making a very valid point: tax and fiscal are not completely synonymous in English.

neutral James (Jim) Davis : This is not a disagree. I tend to avoid "fiscal" as a translation for "fiscale", because the US EN for "esercizio 2012" is the "fiscal year 2012" which is the statutory accounting year, not the tax year.. // "I tend" Fiscal is always accurate in economics

The adjective "fiscal" is being used very widely as a translation for "fiscale", as you yourself show here: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/italian_to_english/law:_taxation_c... thus contradicting yourself quite flagrantly...
