I take assoluto to mean here as indicated above. If it is clear from the context, however, you could decide to drop it.

ma se siamo nella musica classica,di solito i concorsi hanno un nome.Per esempio "Concorso Paganini"In questo caso sarebbe Paganini Competition first prize winner.Ma senza contesto e' un po' difficile.Ciao Lina
