Man sagte, dass Stalin ganz ruhig sei, weil der Vertrag mit Deutschland abgeschlossen wurde. Es wurde ja auch Getreide nach Deutschland exportiert. So war dann alles natürlich ganz unvermutet - obwohl ja unsere **Aufklärer** darüber informiert hatten, dass ein Krieg vorbereitet wird. Es gab sogar die Instruktion, dass wir uns nicht den Anschein geben, uns verteidigen zu wollen oder kriegerische Handlungen gegen die Deutschen zu unternehmen. So war das, obwohl man Stalin gemeldet hatte, dass Kiew bombardiert wurde und außerdem viele Städte in Belorussland.
