L’ancrage 1R15 est un ancrage de précontrainte additionnelle extérieure spécialement conçu pour le renforcement des structures existantes, spécialement les éléments minces.
Le toron est ancré par coincement conique du mors constitué de trois clavettes.
L’effort de précontrainte est transmis à la structure à renforcer par frottement entre l’ancrage 1R15 et la surface de la structure. Ce frottement est mobilisé par la mise en précontrainte d’une barre de fixation traversante ou scellée dans la structure. Pour un bon contact avec la structure, l’ancrage 1R15 est posé sur une surface de béton bouchardée si besoin, avec une résine époxy (EPONAL 380) à l’interface.
Sa conception allongée permet la mise en tension du câble au vérin monotoron à nez courbe, tout en reportant l’effort de précontrainte au raz d’un voile par exemple
