you know for sepcila things Google however useful is notnecessarily the top of the tops, but surely will not fight over a mere idea and contribution, all that matters is that asker finds his or her own around!! :)

This translation was my first thought when I saw your question, and when I searched I found at least one website which uses this expression (see link below). The idea being 'keeping watch' over what publications are appearing, etc. Hope this helps.

: Normally, I would agree wholeheartedly, but in this case, it seems to be something that has _been_ done, and has produced a result; so ajk could consider "biliography SEARCH" in this case, unless there is some indication that it is a continuing process.

Unfortunately that term is taken by some software, so it is not easy to find a case where it is used in the way we want.
Since one of my preferred translations for "veille technologique" is "competitive intelligence", I'd like to see the expression used here too.

Actually, since their "veille bibliographique" appears to include Internet sources, why not "competitive intelligence programme"? Unless you're talking actual industrial espionage, isn't the only other kind visiting trade fairs and the like?
Does your text make a distinction between "veille bibliographique" and any other "veille"?

Veille would normally mean constant monitoring. However in this case it seems to mean a specific search.
"Literature" is most often used to describe the Inventoring of all documents and other references. It is the accepted jargon.
