"c" could mean "Copyright" The year of publication, followed by the month, if given, asDate of Copyright"1988 Jan"; English names are used for months; names ofmonths may be abbreviated to the first 3 letters; if no date isfound on the opening screens or elsewhere on the site but it can be determined from some other source, brackets are placed around it, as "[1988 Jan]"; if no date of publicationcan be determined, the date of copyright may be used, preceded by “c”, as “c1999"; if both a date of publicationand date of copyright appear, only the date of publication isrequired unless the two dates widely differ, such as “2000, c1998"; if neither a date of publication nor copyright can be determined, the date of update/revision and/or the date ofcitation are used (see below)
