The following data back-up methods are used. They have different purposes:
1. Standard system start-up
So-called standard system start-up files are created to ensure that a certain configuration can be transferred entirely to other controls running the same software releases (e.g. running on the same type of machine) as easily as possible. This type of file cannot be modified externally using an ASCII editor. Series start-up files contain all relevant settings (except for compensation data). Standard system start-up files should be created for NCK, PLC and for the HMI

3. Software upgrade
4. Archiving by area
