Ring Number This is the number on the rabbit's leg ring which will be on one of its back legs. This number will also be on its papers. If not, pick up the rabbit, cradle it on its back in your arms, extend the leg with the ring and read it. It's a good idea to have some scrap paper and a pen handy. The number will be BRC (British Rabbit Council), then a two digit number which is an abbreviation of the year it was born, then a letter which is the ring size (varies between breeds), then a running number. Thus BRC06H00180 is a British Giant (takes H ring size) born in 2006.
