Could anyone paraphrase it or tell me the meaning of it?

It means 経済方針を維持する, 経済に対する取り組み方針を堅持する, or 経済に対する姿勢を維持する.

The phrase “stay the course” means to continue doing something until it has finished or been completed, even though it is difficult.
