The Lodige blenders are large, stainless steel vessels that can hold up to 15,000 kilograms of powder. The main plow inside the blenders mixes the powder at a rate of 105 rpm. Then a unique blend of oils that provide additional nutritional and caloric value to the product is added into the mix through sprayers located just above four high-speed **choppers**, which mixes the powder and oil at a speed of 3600 rpm to ensure a uniform blend. The speed of the **choppers** ensures an almost instant dispersion of the oils through the batch.
