general conversation
This is the story of nine young actors; they come from different countries and have very different backgrounds, but these nine disparate people all have one thing in common. They have a dream, a dream to be in the movies.
Last time we saw Holiday, who could not make her mind up if she was a singer, or an actor and we followed Rowena as she went for and didn’t get the part in Fox’s hospital drama, The Oath. The Hollywood game continues with Steven, Jade, Gail and Edwin.
Edwin:
Well one day I can be this bitchin' surfer dude who rides killer waves and the next day I can be this guy who thinks about suicide and always killing himself. But that's me. That's who I am. Maybe I'm different. Maybe I'm not.
NARRATOR:
At Warner Brothers studios Edwin is trying out for a new pilot. There are 127 young actors going for the part of Tramain in the TV drama, In My Life.
Edwin:
I been here 5 days and in 5 days I've had to the crap kicked out of me cause I'm black.

"kick the crap out of someone" significa "massacrarlo di botte"; quindi "I had the crap kicked out of me" = "mi hanno massacrato di botte",
