Agree again with Derek - lacking context, I was about to suggest Hochdach (high-tops -> type of RV) and Flachstrom-Zylinderkopf (Ford used to have them on their big block engines).

Waiting is also advantageous, because my suggestion may not be 100% correct. I am pretty sure about this one and I think you'll be safe using it, but I personally would've been interested to hear if there is a better German word for "hi-tops"... :-)
