It's important to note that the source expression in EN '...-strong' no longer has any real specific connotation of 'strength', so this need not / should not be included in the FR; cf. such contrasting expressions as 'on the strength of', where its presence is important.

To answer Abel's criticism, this use of 'strong' really is just soemthing almost of an archaism, and has nothing really at all (any more) to do with 'strength' — I'm afraid to think it does betrays an attempt to intepret EN through a FR cultural mindset.
