Is it part of the name of the company and therefore not to be translated or must I translate it as "AG"?

Klopt, het is globaal genomen een AG of zo, maar de rechtsstructuren verschillen wel en je mag NV niet vertalen met AG, GmbH, Ltd, Inc. AS, SprL of wat dan ook.
