أخذت زخماً gained a momentum / took off Explanation: Perhaps you'd like to consider something like "took off widely", as I think there are better words to describe زخم than واسع although it -itself- is not wrong. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2013-09-22 11:26:01 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "gained momentum" without "a".
