LCCs
The LCCs have provided a useful format for adding value to the Project as they have acted to bring representatives from different groups in the pilot areas together, for example, local residents and those working within the local authority. Some pilot areas have been more successful than others **in holding regular LCCs with good attendance levels**; for instance in Knowsley regular LCC meetings were held in the pilot areas with a set number of attendees and minuted, adding up to ten over the lifetime of the Project. In Hungary and Greece the LCCs were also held regularly in the pilot areas with wide representation from the local businesses, local associations of inhabitans, the participating universities and the local authorities.
The LCCs have been important in developing the learning materials for the training sessions, as feedback was often received by the LCCs from participants, both planners and citizens, which allowed learning materials to be adapted to suit needs identified as the training progressed.
