This is at the top of a court ruling, and is not part of a complete sentence. The phrase "in corso di causa" also appears in the following context:

"in corso di causa le società attrici hanno in sostanza riproposto la stessa domanda cautelare esaminata e decisa dal Giudice istruttore..."

This basically means that one of the parties has filed a pre-trial motion in the case mentioned. Pre-trial proceedings pertain to preliminary matters that must be resolved by the court before moving on to the merits of the case. "In corso di causa" basically means "during the case" or "in the course of the proceedings".
