I find myself staring into artificial light. The neon above the optics behind the bars in town, or the optics themselves and the way they reflect light off their glass, catch it and throw it back, bounce it back into my eyes.

Tehnic vorbind, înseamnă o măsură sau un distribuitor. Adică o piesă care se ataşează la sticlă pentru a măsura porţiile. Se numeşte optics pentru că se poate vedea prin ea. Vezi: http://www.shotglass.co.uk/html/optics.html

Însă nu cred că are sens să cauţi un echivalent pentru un termen aşa de specific. Mai bine zici sticle sau altceva.
