I am bilingual as I have spoken English since birth in a British environment/community till about age 15 and have continued its use up to date out of that community, and Spanish, also learned since birth or a bit later due to living in Chile and dominant after age 15. In what relates to translation competence I’m fully bilingual and fluent in both languages.
According to the University of Cambridge my level of English is NEAR-NATIVE.
My knowledge of English and Spanish is not self-proclaimed, it has been put to test (Cambridge CPE for English and three successful University degrees in a Spanish speaking country - Chile, for Spanish).
Anyhow, if you still have doubts, send me a test translation, and if I'm paid or have extra time to spend I'll be willing to work on it. Test translations above 250 words have to be paid at my regular fee or minimum fee.
