Text sursă - română Posibilităţile infanteriei uşoare, mecanizate sau a subunităţilor / unităţilor de vânători de munte sunt nepotrivite în operaţiunile de război informaţional (PSYOP, EW, de Inteligenţă, Operaţiuni speciale).
În operaţiile militare, altele decât cele de război, conform AJP 01 (A), sunt incluse, de asemenea şi operaţiunile de contrainsurgenţă (COIN), operaţiunile de menţinere a păcii, de sprijinire a păcii (PE), anti-gherilă, de control şi de securitate (C), lupta împotriva terorismului şi acţiunile umanitare.
Astfel, în operaţiunile de contrainsurgenţă, infanteria uşoară şi vânătorii de munte pot fi, de asemenea, folosite cu succes în cooperare cu unităţile mecanizate şi Forţele Speciale.
