Подскажите, пожалуйста, каким глаголом можно ликвидировать пост наблюдения. Никак не могу найти подтверждения в гугле какой-либо из своих версий.

I think this is what would most likely be used in this context. Certainly not "liquidated".

Thanks! Yes, one thing: the "order from above" should be indicated!Remember Orwell? The rules were ordering the workers to stop and to start.
