Hmm... I think "Twisted Deformity" is as good as it's gonna get. It describes the phenomenon clearly, which is the main thing. I don't know why you got "staggered" out of ネジレ, though!

I found an article with a term search, but you can't read it unless you sign up for it:
The microvasculature of the nail bed, nail matrix, and nail ...
For the nail matrix, the interconnected plexus of the capillaries was because there ... 3B) were wider apart and thinner, and did not end with a twist; however, ... underlying soft tissues could result in a variety of nail deformities. ...

For your other terms, I would put:
Looped form with dense end/tip
form with bypass on the side
Looped form with thick lower area

I use http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ for individual words sometimes, but you can't expect a machine to ever take the place of a good translator! 変形 is deformity/deformation, NEVER "transformation". When in doubt, check multiple dictionaries. Online translating software will only give you one option, and that may not be the most common or best suited for your context.

Good luck with your project!

capillaries Let me research it and get back to you...
Electric-Japan (asker) Apr 21, 2010:
Thank you so much for the prompt reply.

Its about the shapes and types of blood capillaries. And this is one of the type.
Tina Wooden Apr 21, 2010:
maybe not But the term ネジレ means Twisting. You'd be hard pressed to find the medical definition online...
I would need more context to say for sure, but if it's talking about the intestines twisting in a seizure, it would be 腸捻転. See

There are many forms of deformity, the most common being Twisting Deformity. This form occurs frequently with Dyslipidemia.

I translated 表われやすい as "occurs frequently" rather than "occurs easily" which is the literal translation, but does not convey the meaning in English.

高脂血症 was changed to 脂質異常症 in 2007 (see Wikipedia link below).

"Hyperlipidemia" is the correct term in this case.
