I don't know the proper russian translation of the term 'trapezing' The accompanying text is following: 'First seen as a means of allowing the crew of a two-person sailboat to gain extra leverage, the trapeze has spread to all kinds of sailboat, from single-handers to nine-person skiffs.'

In Dinghy sailing, trapezing is a technique in performance sailing which allows the crew to hang their weight outside the boat while attached to lines which lead to the upper mast. This gives greater leverage to counter the heeling of the boat, and it keeps the mast and sails in a more efficient upright attitude

/тут просто трапеция. матрос выходит на трапецию чтобы откренить яхту или швертбот

на трапеции можно откренивать. трапеция это то что одевает на себя шкотовый матрос. плюс небольшая снасть за которую он цепляется и вывешивает себя за борт. в обычной речи просто трапеция выходить на трапецию . откренивать яхту на трапеции .
