Tech/Engineering - Printing & Publishing
English term or phrase: cold foil
Context: "Cold foil blocking is carried out as an in-line process and the printing press is constrained by the speed of cold foil equipment." This sentence is taken from a text on label and carton printing. They also refer to an "opacifying white ink station" which is used for metallic substrates. Again, I have no idea how to translate this. Any suggestions/explanations would be greatly appreciated
