Arabic term
البدلات
Arabic to English
Bus/Financial
Real Estate
Also from a Lebanese lease agreement. This is being used to refer to the overdue rent…I’d been translating البدلات as reimbursements, but does it simply mean ‘rent’ or ‘ rent payment’ here? In the agreement, (بدل (بدلات and بدل (بدلات) الايجار are used interchangeably.
البدلات العائدة لسنة 1989 = 100,000 ل ل
البدلات العائدة لسنة 1989 = 100,000 ل ل

surcharge allowance / increment allowance
I would think that this over and above the normal rent. See this link for the value of the LL 100000 = US $ 66.09. It would be hard to believe that such an amount could represent a year's rent! See the lease if there are no time oriented charges or cost of living increments, etc.

Thanks but I owuld be interested if the Asker can inform us if the full rent would only be LL 100,000 for the year!

rent revenues / rent variables
rent revenues / rent variables = 100,000
seems logic
AS بدلات here means the total sum

Discussion
That figure was just a randomly picked number off the top of my head, not actually from the text...I looked up the actual figure, and it was 1,733,490 LL rent for 1992 for this office (though 100,000 LL would have been reasonable for the early 1980s, before inflation really set in).
Sorry for the confusion!
