back school
I am pretty sure we say this in English too. It is mainly how to do tasks with good body mechanics to avoid back injuries.

Comment: "Warum nicht. Klingt elegant und einprägsam. Und ist laut google auch recht gebräuchlich. Danke."

Back strengthening course
Have just started to attend a course at my local gym in Germany!
It was also advertised as Rückengymnastik on one flyer.
Basically a lot of stretching and tensing, progressing through all of the muscles in the back and strengthening the spinal column. Some work done standing up and some floor work (the most painful part for those with a weak back!). Not any specific school of thought though unlike pilates, yoga etc. Just seems to be a general combiniation of exercises for strengthening the back. I'm not sure if we less health-concious English have a direct equivalent...
Highly recommended!
