Biografie
With my experience delivering highly accurate
translations of medical and technical texts and a MA degree in English,
Spanish, Catalan and Romanian, I believe that my profile could be of
interest.
I mainly specialise in the following areas: conference interpreting, and medical
and pharmaceutical industry, marketing and website localisation.
Having collaborated
with the Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and Commercial Training departments of
some of the best-known pharmaceutical companies, I have been able to gain insight into the pharmaceutical industry and
continue specialising in medical translation.
Moreover, I believe that my experience in website
localisation and IT services could be an asset. I have participated in the translation of e-commerce platforms
and my inside
knowledge of website content generation enables me to integrate this content in CAT tools and to
perform successful website testing.
In addition, I have experience in DTP and
can work with several text formats (INDD, Illustrator, html…) and I am a
proficient user of SDL Trados 2019 and Multiterm. Currently I translate 2,500-3,000 words per day depending on the technical difficulty of the project.
I have very flexible working and contact hours and
am currently available for weekend work.
My clients value my willingness to cooperate, my ability
to meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of the translations
and to conform to formatting and style guidelines.
