Chiar daca sustinerea lui este un proces formal, nu se poate echivala cu un "defense"( teza de doctorat); si la un "oral presentation" se pun intrebari pe marginea proiectului si se poate sustine o dezbatere; as pastra un termen adecvat nivelului.

I work in a university. Students here do not read their thesis, but they sit a final examination called Viva (Viva voce) where examiners asks comprehensive questions and students have to explain in detail various aspects of their work. So in this case there is no reading a thesis, rather the equivalent would be the question and answer session called viva voce.

din experienta mea de scoala, pot spune ca nu este vorba despre o simpla prezentare ci mai mult de o argumentare a proiectului, intr-adevar, orala, in cursul careia, se primesc intrebari din partea comisiei, la care absolventul trebuie sa raspunda si sa explice de ce a facut asa proiectul
