* I retired from full-time commuting job and working as a freelancer translator, ghostwriter and independent consultant.
* I am... working with translation companies such as Moabay, Lexcode, Trans-beonyeok, Auction translation and Trans-One in Korea. I also work at One Hour Translation with name of D. Kim. You can check my track record on One Hour Translation website.

* I translated lot of research papers, project plans, contracts, legal documents, letters, etc. I am better with technical/engineering/contract documents because of my background.
* My average earning from translation is approximately 3,000 USD per month
Until 2008, I worked full time for 35 years as a high-speed railway project specialist, Contract Manager, Business Development Manager, Project Manager for Korean, Taiwanese and multinational companies.

I do not use Trados. For me, MS Word is best for efficiency. I have customized the MS Word with useful macros for some of Trados functions like terminology and auto-replacement.
