Morning, I think that this is a daily meditation, quote to think about for the day, although anyway of saying it which is closer to the French and maybe keeping 'word(s)' in it? This group of authors have psychology texts which are also very poetic so I'm looking for that mixture please.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I'm going to go for this. I also liked 'Thought for the day' yet this is more sort of poetic like the writer. Thanks"

words of the wise /or/ proverbial sayings

grandir is often used by the french to express maturity in age, learning, behavior etc. in english, in newspaper columns or even on the internet, the plural is often used for this context i.e words of the wise, which the french from the context must be using the singular. Take note too that these are quotations, already written, not words on what the reader or receiver will experience, but to help him/her reflect on the events of daily life, whether his or others. Some persons might use “proverbial sayings”
