English term

the information in this manual is provided "as is" and without warranties of any

English to Chinese Law/Patents Medical: Health Care
How to translate "the information in this manual is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind either express or implied."? This sentence is part of a disclaimer.

I am especially stuck with proper Chinese wording for "as is".

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Discussion

I think the sentence is just another (catchy) way to say "This manual provides information instead of any warranties."--the key difference is that it starts the sentence with the subject of "information" instead of "manual."
(If you want, you can simply say: 本手册仅提供讯息,不含任何明示或暗示之保证。)

这份手册已将资讯平铺直叙 说明清楚,并未提供任何明确的或者言外暗示的保证。

"As is" is not used (or even needed) in the Chinese translation. Its main use is to make clear that there is nothing left vague (for instance, no questions asked to keep readers hanging in mid-air) or unclear and nothing is implied.
If one must do something to the "as is," I suggest Pingpu Zhishu. (meaning, no twists and/or doubts have been introduced).

另外一种说法

对于实物,"as is"指其目前现状。对于文字内容,似乎应该是按字面含义,不带明示或暗示。

To put it another way:

Information used in this manual is CITED "as is" and we do not guarantee in any way, expressly or implicitly, the accuracy of the same.

The author is not very careful with his writing. Based on the whole sentence, the "information" here is actually cited information from other sources, not directly from by the author himself. What he is trying to say here is the information used is cited from other sources and he does not guarantee the accuracy of the cited information.

So the sentence can be translated as:

本手册中所使用信息为“原样引用”,我们对其准确性不作任何明示或暗示保证。
Something went wrong...
