risco = scratching?

: I agree with "mark, cut, sew and finish", I was going towards these terms, but I'd rephrase it to use marking, cutting, sewing and finishing.

Thanks! However, the correct grammatical form is "mark, cut, sew, etc." (marking, cutting, etc. are used to express the continuation of the actions).

In that time frame we scarcely had a mark, dressmaking and finishing
No Dicionário Oxford temos:
"risco: (linha delimitadora) mark"
"corte e costura: dressmaking"
"acabamento: finishing"
Mike :)

Back then, we barely had marking, cutting sewing, and finishing
Another option that Ifond sounds more natural.

NOUM !!
:-)
"By that time, all that we had were marking, cutting, sewing and finishing..."
A mix of both answers so far presented.
