simonehora (asker) Mar 20, 2012: in marea britanie mi s-a sugerat de multi colegi ca cea mai buna varianta ar fi registered general nurse. chiar am vazut diplome traduse asa de absolvire de scoala postliceala sanitara. as vrea sa fiu sigura de termenul ales, intrucat persoana care are nevoie de traduceri are nevoie de exhivalarea studiilor si se bazeaza pe traducerea corecta a specializarii.

Pentru a deveni "Registered" trebuie să îndeplinești mai multe criterii, printre care un minim de 5 ani experiență pe postul de Medical Assistant. Denumirea acestei calificari este de Medical Assistant, in functie de calificare si nivelul avansat la care se profeseaza exista CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) sau RMA (Registered Medical Assistant).
In nici un caz nu cred ca este corect "generalist ...". De exemplu medicul de familie, GP, este General Practitioner, sper ca vedeti diferenta. Mai exista si Clinical Medical Assistant "A clinical medical assistant is hired to do deal directly with patients. Their duties center on patient care such as making sure that examination rooms, and treatment areas are clean, well stocked and organized.

Example sentence:

Medical assistants work in hospitals, medical offices and clinics etc. Medical assistants used to be hired without formal training, just to have graduated from high school before being hired. They were ofered training on the job (CMA)

Another way medical assistants earn credentials is to be a registered medical assistant (RMA).
