Bio

Born and raised in a family of scholars and intellectuals, it comes as second nature for me to write in vivid, grammatically correct English. 

My professional background is in promoting travel destinations, tours, and music events. I've also done some technical writing, including a scientific review published in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry and a 170-page translation dictionary of the Jamaican Patois dialect.

My thirty-year relationship with Portuguese began with a high school year in Brazil, followed by five years studying and majoring in Portuguese and Spanish at UC Santa Barbara. I went on to host a Brazilian radio show for ten years, regularly translating news and announcements between Portuguese and English.
